5.1 Cookie Retention Periods 

Cookies may be stored for a maximum period of 13 months from the date the User consents to them. Storage periods for each cookie type are detailed above. 

5.2 Retention Periods for Information Collected via Cookies 

Upon expiry of a cookie, the data collected through it will be deleted or anonymized, depending on the nature of the cookie.

Information collected via cookies is stored by the Publisher for a maximum period of 25 months.

  1. How Can You Control and Delete Cookies? 

6.1 Cookie Consent Management Tool 

Necessary cookies cannot be deleted or disabled, as the technical functionality of our website depends on them. The cookie consent management tool we use will also not allow blocking cookies on third-party websites linked to from our website, as we have no technical means to control those websites.  

With the exception of the above “Necessary cookies”, which cannot be deactivated, the storage of all other types of cookies requires the User’s prior consent.

The cookie consent management tool allows the User to customize their cookie preferences individually. It records cookie preferences in real-time and will prompt Users for consent every 6 months to ensure Users stay up to date with updates to cookie and privacy policies. Using the cookie consent management tool, the User can decide whether they want audience measurement cookies, statistical cookies, or third-party social media sharing cookies to be saved on their terminal device while browsing our website. They may also delete or block cookies. 

Upon the User’s first visit to the website, a banner with information about cookies is displayed. The User can then accept/activate or decline/disable the saving of cookies via the information banner by checking/unchecking the relevant boxes. Except for the box concerning necessary cookies, all other boxes are unchecked by default. Any deactivation (unchecking a box) constitutes a refusal to store the respective cookies.

By continuing to browse the website or clicking on any of its elements, the User consents to the saving of cookies in accordance with default settings.

If the User consents to cookies being saved on their terminal device, cookies integrated with the pages and content viewed will be temporarily stored in a dedicated location on their device. They can only be read by the sender.

Please note:

The User’s decision to accept or reject cookies is itself based on one or more cookies. Deleting cookies associated with the website will erase the selection made by the User and visible to Veolia Energia Warszawa S.A., requiring the choice to be made again upon the next visit to one of our websites.
